Summary
America’s Sweetheart, Dolly Parton, has tried to stay relevant since the start of her career in the 1950s. She’s also tried to stay monogamous and faithful to one man. Her latest book, Dolly on Dolly, talks about some failures at both. She sometimes describes her marriage as “free and open.” She also says she doesn’t care if he flirts. She also calls women he has crushes on hussies. There’s a lot to unpack about Dolly, the woman, the myth, the legend. Obviously a podcast about kink and polyamory is the place for this to happen.
